PIZZELLA (ITALIAN COOKIES) 
13 lg. or jumbo eggs
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 lb. butter
4 tsp. anise
8 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. grated lemon or orange peel (optional)
6 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder

A pizzella iron is necessary to make these cookies. Combine and mix together the first 3 ingredients. Add anise and vanilla. Beat. Add lemon or orange peel, and combined flour and baking powder. Beat.

Pizzellas are delightful cookies and are not rich. Enjoy!
