MARTHA WASHINGTON CANDY | |
2 lbs. powdered sugar 1 lg. pkg. coconut 1/2 c. melted butter 1/4 lb. paraffin 1 can Eagle Brand milk 4 c. finely chopped nuts 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips Combine powdered sugar, milk, coconut, nuts and butter in very large bowl. Mix well. (Mixture will be hard to mix.) Roll into 1" balls. Place on cookie sheet. Insert toothpick into each ball and chill thoroughly. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin in double boiler and dip each ball into mixture to coat. Place on waxed paper and remove toothpick. Let stand until chocolate hardens. Can be frozen. |
