EGGS PORTUGAL 
8 slices of bread
3/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 lb. Webber mild or hot sausage
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 tbsp. mustard
Dash of salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c. dry vermouth wine

This recipe needs to be prepared the day before it is to be served.

Remove crusts from bread. Fry sausage. Blend together eggs, milk, mustard and salt.

Spray a 9 x 14 inch casserole dish with Pam. Layer the dish with bread first, then cheese, then sausage. Pour egg mixture over layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Mix soup and wine together, and pour over top of casserole. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or 45 minutes at 350 degree. Serves 6 to 8 people.
