CATHY'S CREAM WAFERS | |
1 c. soft butter (must be real) 1/3 c. whipping cream 2 c. flour CREAM FILLING: 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Few drops whipping cream Beat until fluffy. Add small amount of red food coloring. Mix butter, whipping cream and flour together. Roll dough out as thin as pie dough. Cut into 1 inch circles. Dip in colored sugar both sides and prick with fork. Bake 9 minutes or until light brown. Don't over bake - cool. Put small amount of filling on wafer and then put second wafer on top of filling - about 1 teaspoon of filling per wafer. |
