CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
Whipped cream, if desired

Make chocolate cake mix according to directions. Pour into buttered 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Spoon over the top cherry pie filling. Cut through batter both directions with a table knife to swirl cherries through cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes, until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool, serve with whipped cream if desired.
