GRANOLA COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1/3 c. honey
2 eggs
1/4 c. water
2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 3/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped dried fruit
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate pieces
1/2 c. flake coconut

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheet; set aside. Mix sugar, Crisco oil, honey, eggs, and water in large mixing bowl. Add flour, oats, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Drop by teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees about 8 minutes or until almost indentation remains when touched lightly. Cool on wire rack. Yields 4 1/2 to 5 dozen cookies or 48 bars.

(This is a very good cookie recipe. I have used dried apples and it was very good.)
