MOM'S MACARONI 
2 c. elbow macaroni
1 egg + milk to make 1 c.
Salt and pepper
Butter
New York extra sharp cheese (lg. block)

Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water. Drain. In 1 1/2 quart casserole, place 1/3 of noodles. Then add slices of cheese to cover noodles. Add salt, pepper and dot with butter. Repeat layers twice more.

In a measuring cup beat egg, milk and salt and pepper. Pour over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
