PEPPER STEAK 
2 tbsp. flour
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. round steak (3/4 inch thick)
1 c. onion soup
1 med. green pepper, cut into 8 strips

Combine flour and seasonings; pound into meat. Brown meat in shortening, pour off fat. Add soup and ketchup, cover. Cook over low heat for 1 hour. Add green peppers, cook 20 minutes more until meat is tender (stirring now and then).
