PEPPER STEAK 
2 tbsp. seasoned flour
1 1/2 lb. round or cube steak
1 can onion soup with beef stock (not cream of onion)
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. Crisco
1 med. green pepper, cut in strips

Roll meat in flour and brown in shortening in frying pan. Pour off excess fat. Add onion soup and ketchup. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add green pepper. Cook 20 minutes or until tender. Serve with rice.
