5 HOUR STEW 
1 lb. beef stew meat
1 c. carrots, cut up
1 c. celery
2 onions
2 heaping tbsp. tapioca
1 bay leaf
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 can water
Fresh or canned mushrooms
Dash of salt and pepper

Lightly brown stew meat. Mix all ingredients together. Cover and bake at 250 degree oven for 4-5 hours. Stir occasionally.
