LEMON CHERRY DESSERT 
1 pkg. lemon cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped (if desired)
Glaze (see below)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry cake mix, eggs and butter until smooth. Spread dough in ungreased oblong pan 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Spread pie filling over dough, sprinkle with nuts (optional). Bake 40 to 45 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Drizzle with glaze. Serve warm or cool.

GLAZE:

Mix 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon water. Add enough additional water to reach desired glaze consistency.
