PEACH CHUTNEY | |
4 c. cut-up peaches 1/4 c. finely chopped onion 1 tsp. powdered dry mustard 3/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/8 tsp. ground cloves 1 tsp. grated lemon rind 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 c. wine vinegar 3/4 c. granulated sugar 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. seedless raisins Mix all ingredients together in wide bottom pan. Cook slowly until clear and thickened, stirring frequently. Pour into sterilized jars and seal immediately. Makes approximately 2 pints. |
