MOIST OATMEAL COOKIES 
3 well beaten eggs
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Combine eggs, raisins, and vanilla and let stand 1 hour covered with plastic wrap.

Cream butter and sugars, add flour, salt, cinnamon, and soda. Mix well. Blend in egg mixture, oatmeal, and nuts.

Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
