BROOKVILLE COLE SLAW 
1 lg. cabbage
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. whipping cream

Shred cabbage fine and let stand for several hours. Mix sugar, vinegar, and salt and let stand at least 30 minutes.

Fold in whipped cream and add to cabbage just before serving. (Can substitute Cool Whip, but cut down on sugar.)

This was a huge hit for Mothers Day. Only changes were about a quarter cup of thinly sliced onion and two heaping table spoons of Miracle Whip. Everyone thought it was a near clone of the recipe used at the Green Leaf in Wooster, OH.
