INDIAN PUDDING 
4 c. milk
2/3 c. molasses
2/3 c. cornmeal
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter

Blend 3 cups milk and molasses in saucepan. Simmer. Combine dry ingredients; stir into hot milk, gradually. Add butter. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly. Pour into buttered 2-quart baking dish. Pour remaining 1 cup milk over pudding. Do not stir. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours.
