CRANBERRY, WALNUT, ORANGE AND
AVOCADO SALAD

I first made this salad for my family's Thanksgiving dinner several years ago as a starter and it was a big hit! This recipe was inspired after I had some pear and walnut salad at a restaurant. Since I'm a busy professional woman and don't have lots of time to cook, I wanted to make something quick and easy, yet tasty, using pre-made ingredients you can find at regular grocery stores.

1 bag of spinach & mixed green salad
3/4 cup dried sweetened cranberries
3/4 cup glazed walnuts
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
3/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 avocado, cubed
Cranberry or raspberry walnut vinaigrette dressing to toss

Open the bag of spinach and mixed green salad and lay in the salad bowl. Add cranberries, walnuts, oranges, blue cheese and avocado to salad. Drizzle salad dressing over ingredients. Toss until all ingredients are evenly mixed. Adjust the amount of ingredients based on your taste preference.

Total preparation time: Less than 15 minutes.
