JUDY'S BEST EVER CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c. water
1 c. oil
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 bar German chocolate, grated fine
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. crushed pecans

Mix and beat until smooth first 6 ingredients. Fold in German chocolate, chocolate chips and pecans. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees, in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch OR 3 cake pans.

FROSTING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat all of above until smooth and fluffy. Frost cake when cool. You may add whole pecans or cherries to top if desired.
