CHERRY TART 
6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. white granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. broken, unsalted soda crackers (saltines)
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 env. Dream Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar, cream of tartar and vanilla. Using mixer, beat 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in crackers and nuts. Bake in 13"x9" ungreased pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Mix 2 envelopes Dream Whip as directed on package. Spread on cooled cake. Top with pie filling. Chill at least 6 hours. Can be made day ahead.
