GRAMMY GINGER BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. hot water
1 c. Brer Rabbit Molasses
2 1/2 c. sifted Pillsbury's Best All-Purpose Flour

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt.

Combine molasses and water. Gradually add flour mixture to cream mixture. Line greased square pan with greased waxed paper. Pour in batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan.
