HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 c. tomato juice
1 c. water
2 cans undiluted cream of celery soup
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. marjoram
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
2 c. chopped or sliced carrots

Brown ground beef and onion. Combine tomato juice, celery soup, and water. Stir until smooth and add to beef/onion. Add carrots and seasonings. Simmer 15 minutes or until carrots are done. Variation: Add cooked beans of your choice: pinto, navy, kidney, etc.
