SCALLOPED CABBAGE WITH HAM 
2 lb. shredded fresh green cabbage
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. diced, cooked ham
2 c. corn flakes
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cook cabbage in boiling salted water only until tender. Drain well. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and seasonings. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened, stirring occasionally.

Combine cabbage and ham in greased 2 quart casserole. Cover with sauce. Crush corn flakes slightly. Mix with melted butter. Sprinkle over sauce. Heat thoroughly in 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes.
