BLUEBERRY BATTER CAKE 
2 c. blueberries
lemon juice, equiv. to 1/2 lemon

Batter:

1/4 c. sugar
3 T. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Spread blueberries in bottom of 8x8 pan and sprinkle with lemon juice. Spread batter over top, then sprinkle with

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 T. cornstarch

Combined. Pour:

1 c. boiling water

over all and bake at 375°F for 45 minutes. Let set a few minutes before serving with ice cream.
