SPAGHETTI NOODLES WITH CLAM
SAUCE
 
Spaghetti noodles

CLAM SAUCE:

6 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 med. onion, chopped
3 celery stalks, peeled and finely chopped
3 tbsp. flour
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chopped clams
1 qt. half and half
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
1 tsp. salt

Melt butter; add garlic, onion, and celery. Saute under medium heat until vegetables are tender. Stir in flour until smooth and golden. Combine clam liquid, half and half, pepper, thyme, and salt in saucepan. Add clam meats.
