Best recipe ever! I thought they were going to turn out bad because I'm not that good of a cook, but they were great!

It's 9am and breakfast is over. I rolled out of bed at 8am. I never take the time to write reviews but I am so impressed with how simple and tasty they were. This is my 1st time making biscuits ever and I feel like a queen right now. My son was introduced to those biscuits in the blue can by his Dad and he loves those salty things. I would always pass on those and eat toast. I guess this morning I was fed up with toast and thank goodness for that because my son LOVES these biscuits. Thank you

I made these and they turned out awesome. I did add 1/4 c of sugar to the recipe to make them sweeter. I also did not roll and cut them, i shaped them with my hands and it turned out great.

This was an awesome recipe. We made shepherds pie and realized we were missing the biscuits. This recipe was perfect. Thank you.

This recipe is great and so easy to do. It only takes a little bit of time. To kick this recipe up a notch I added some shredded cheddar into the dough (however much you like) and baked it. Then I made some garlic butter, just by sprinkling some garlic powder into a little butter, I brushed that on top of the biscuits while they were hot. They were amazing. Tasted like the biscuits from red lobster! :)

I have made some very bad biscuits over the years and I was real not looking forward to trying yet another recipe just to be disappointed. Luckily I gave it a shot again because I finally did it! With this recipe which simply could not be any easier I made real biscuits and not doughy hockey pucks! I read some tips on this site from another recipe about handling the dough as little as possible and about cutting in the butter and those tips I believe helped a ton. The only thing I changed at all was I had to sub margarine for the butter because that's all I had and I also used buttermilk in one batch just to see how it would turn out. I also baked at 425°F because my oven is a bit hot. With buttermilk or without these came out fab. And one really would not expect much from such an easy recipe but I will be passing this on to everyone I know. A huge THANK YOU to the person who shared this recipe. I will never buy icky refrigerated biscuits again!

I'm eating one as I type :). So good! I spread a little bit of butter and honey on top before I baked it. Also, I didn't roll them, I just shaped them with my hands.

My daughter and I made these one morning and they were very easy! I mixed and she rolled and cut. We dropped a little honey in the middle after they were cut for a little sweetness. She loved them!

I made these last night and they are awesome!!! I used unsalted butter and 2/3 cup of milk was enough. More than that made the dough wet and required more flour. Other than that, great buttery taste. A major hit with the family!!! I will definitely make these more often than the baking powder ones. I'm sure if other tops were brushed with melted butter it would be even tastier!!!!
