SNICKER DOODLES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate about 10 minutes. While mixture is setting, mix the following in another bowl: 1 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon

Form dough into small balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes before removing from trays. Be sure not to crowd cookies.
