TACO PIE | |
1 Pet Ritz deep pie crust shell 1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 pkg. (1 1/4 oz.) taco seasoning mix 1 can (16 oz.) refried beans 1 jar (8 oz.) taco sauce (divided usage) 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (divide usage) 12 nacho chips Shredded lettuce chopped tomato Preheat oven to 400 prick bottom and sides of pie crust. Bake pie shell on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 350 degrees. In skillet, cook ground beef and onion, drain. Add taco seasoning mix. In small bowl combine refried beans and 1/3 cup taco sauce mix well. Layer half of refried bean mixture in bottom of pie crust. Top with 1/2 of meat, 1 cup Cheddar cheese and nacho chips. Repeat layers excluding nacho chips. Bake on preheated cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with lettuce and tomato, add additional taco sauce. |
