CRUNCH TOP APPLE PIE 
6 med. cooking apples
10" unbaked pastry shell
1 c. sugar
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1/4 lb.) butter
1/2 pt. (1 c.) whipping cream

Pare, quarter, core and slice apples. Arrange in unbaked pastry shell. Mix together sugar, graham cracker crumbs, flour, nut meats, cinnamon, and salt; sprinkle over apples. Melt butter and pour evenly over topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Serve at room temperature or chilled. Decorate with the cream that has been beaten until stiff enough to put through pastry bag or spoon whipped cream on each serving. Serves 6 to 8.
