2 qts. apple juice or cider 1 pt. low calorie cranberry juice 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. aromatic bitters 2 sticks cinnamon 1 tsp. whole allspice 1 sm. orange, stuffed with whole cloves Put all ingredients in a large pan on the stove (or in crock pot). Heat until just before boil (or cover crock pot and cook on high for 1 hour, then on low for 4 to 8 hours). One cup rum may be added (optional). Serve warm. |
