1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
5 c. flour

Mix all ingredients well. Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters or roll into a 1 inch ball and flatten with a spoon. Bake until done. Do not over bake. Oven 350 degrees. Makes 6 dozen.
