2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1 c. shortening

Crumb together shortening into first 5 ingredients as for pie dough. Then beat together the next three ingredients. Blend first mixture with the second mixture. Drop into cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Do not overbake. You can decorate these for Christmas Cookies or sprinkle with crinkles or you can add chocolate chips or M & M's.
