1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Cream sugars, butter and oil; add eggs and vanilla. Mix in remaining ingredients. (Refrigerate 4 hours to overnite.) In preheated oven, bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Roll into balls, and flatten with a fork.
