TEXAS HASH 
2 onions
1 green pepper
3 tbsp. fat
1 lb. ground beef
1 can tomatoes
3/4 c. rice
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

Slice 2 onions, chop 1 green pepper. Brown together in 3 tablespoons fat. Add to this 1 pound ground beef. Brown. Add 1 can tomatoes, 3/4 cup rice, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper. Pour into greased baking dish. Cover and store. Place in 350 degree oven for 1 hour, removing cover for last 15 minutes.
