HEARTY CRAB SOUP | |
4 c. cold water 1 c. diced onions 2 tbsp. parsley 1 c. diced carrots 1 1/2 c. diced potatoes 3/4 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. butter 1 (1 lb.) can chopped tomatoes 1 tbsp. seafood seasoning 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 lb. Maryland special crabmeat 1 tbsp. flour mixed with 1/2 c. water to thicken Put water in large pot and bring to boil. Add all ingredients, except crabmeat, bring to boil and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Thicken with flour mix. Add crabmeat. Simmer 1/2 hour. Yield: 2 1/2 quarts. |
