TWINKIE CAKE 
Bake a yellow cake in a 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Slice lengthwise with a bread knife or a thread.

TWINKIE CAKE FILLING:

5 heaping tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat flour and milk until thick; set aside until cold. In another bowl add butter and Crisco. Beat 4 minutes until mixed. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat 4 minutes; add flour mixture and beat 4 more minutes.
