SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces
1 c. diced celery
4 boiled eggs, diced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen baby English peas (uncooked)
1/2 c. diced green bell pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Place lettuce in bottom of glass dish. Layer in order the celery, eggs, peas, bell pepper, onions and bacon. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise and sugar. Spread over top of layered ingredients. Sprinkle cheese over mayonnaise mixture. Cover and refrigerate.

(Note:) Other vegetables, such as broccoli, cucumbers or cauliflower can be substituted in or added to salad.
