TOFFEE SQUARES 
2 sticks butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2-3/4 c. chopped pecans

Mix all ingredients, except chips and pecans and spread evenly in greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and top with chocolate chips. Allow chips to melt. Spread evenly with knife. Sprinkle pecans over top and cut into squares while warm.
