GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
4 qts. green tomatoes, cut up
2 lg. onions, cut up
1 lg. stalk celery, cut up
2 red peppers, cut up

Put in large kettle, sprinkle 1/4 cup salt over this and leave overnight. Drain and then put mixture through a food grinder or chopper. Add: 2 tsp. celery seed 1/2 lb. sugar 1/2 tsp. ground mace 1 tsp. mustard seed

Bring to a boil slowly. Boil 45 minutes. Stir occasionally. Put in hot jars and seal.
