LOW CAL, LOW SUGAR AND HIGH
PROTEIN BREAKFAST

This recipe is based on personal preference. I love cinnamon, so I use a lot of it as well as maple extract. These two ingredients are the most important/prominent.

PER SERVING:

1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon (I use a thick layer over the cottage cheese)
dash of coriander
1/8 tsp. maple extract (Imitation)
1/3 cup mildly sweet, healthy cereal (I like Clifford Crunch - it's an organic cereal I found at my co-op)
1/4 cup Heart-to-Heart Kashi cereal (this is what makes the recipe)
1-2 tbsp. skim milk or light soy milk
3 sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen, thawed)

Mix the cottage cheese and spices/maple extract well. Add cereal. Mix with cottage cheese- consistency should be very thick, so add dash of milk, stir, and top with strawberries.

Note: This recipe will have an oatmeal-like consistency, but is far tastier than plain oatmeal! It is my favorite breakfast and I stay full until lunch. You may want to double it if you like to eat a lot for breakfast.
