WEST TEXAS CORN BREAD | |
1 c. yellow corn meal 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 c. cheddar cheese, grated 2 eggs 1/2 c. Wesson oil 1 c. sour cream or cottage cheese 1 (8 oz.) can cream corn 4 hot chile peppers Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease well a Bundt pan. In large bowl combine cornmeal, baking powder and cheese. Add eggs, salad oil, sour cream, corn and pepper. Mix well. Spoon into pan. Bake 40-50 minutes. |
