WHIPPING CREAM POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 3 c. sugar 6 eggs 3 c. flour (sifted 3 times) 1/2 pt. whipping cream 2 tsp. vanilla (or 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. lemon, or 1 tsp. butter flavoring) DO PREHEAT OVEN! Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat. Add flour alternately with cream, not whipped. Blend until very smooth and add vanilla. Pour in greased and floured bundt pan. Place in cold oven. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour 30 minutes. Freezes well. Makes 20 to 25 servings. |
