SOUR CREAM AND NUT DROPS | |
1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 2 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. chopped nuts Mix butter, sugar, and eggs. Stir in sour cream, vanilla; add flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Add nuts. Chill dough for 1 hour. Drop by rounded teaspoon about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until delicately browned. Just until when touched lightly with finger almost no imprint remaining. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. 5 dozen cookies, 2 1/2 inches. |
