BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. link sausage (any kind may be used) 8 slices bread 3/4 lb. American or mild cheddar cheese, grated 4 eggs 2 1/4 c. milk 1 can mushroom soup, creamed Make night before serving. Fry, drain and cut sausage in bite size pieces. Trim crust and cube bread. Place cubes in bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan, greased. Add sausage and grated cheese. Add soup to milk and mix. Add beaten eggs to milk mixture and pour over sausage and cheese. Let set at least 3 hours or overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until set. Remove from oven 10 to 15 minutes before serving. |
