I made these with my youngest daughter, Akasha for her christmas cookie tray this year. We used a red velvet cake because red and pink are her favorite colors and we added chocolate and peanut butter M&M's her favorite flavors. We called them Kashi Kookies after her....*...Merry Christmas...*

I made these for a work luncheon and everyone loved them! I used a German chocolate cake mix. I also melted a bag of Kraft carmels and drizzled on top with chopped pecans. Yummy!

This is such a yummy and simple recipe! But I have noticed that I have to use 1/2 cup water instead of 1/4. I LOVE chocolate and found a combo which I simply adore, especially during the holiday season: chocolate cake mix, a handful of chocolate chips, a couple starlite mints thrown in the food processor, and a teaspoon of mint extract. Delicious and festive! :) Best of all, nobody will know how EASY they were to make!

I made these with spice cake mix and raisins and then frosted with cream cheese frosting - yummy - not hard at all, must of been a bad oven for the lady who commented before.

I've made them often using Cherry cake mix and adding the mini chocolate chips. Tastes like chocolate covered cherries. Yum! I found the recipe about 35 years ago on a box of cake mix, but it also called for 1/2 cup of flour. And the cooking time was much shorter, 8-10 minutes. The cookies were soft.

Aroma of strawberries dipped in chocolate! Strawberry cake mix and chocolate chips. In the mountains of Colorado, the air is exceptionally dry, so I did add a bit of additional water. Also, since I try to cook fat free, I used pureed prunes instead of the oil - the color darkened the cookies just a bit, but they still look pink - but a darker shade than they would have otherwise. I used egg substitute. Cookies were slightly chewy. Yummy!
