FIESTA BEANS 
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. strong coffee
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
2 lg. cans oven baked beans
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 c. brandy (opt.)
4 slices bacon, chopped

Mix together brown sugar, coffee, vinegar, mustard and salt in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Alternate layers of beans, hot sugar syrup and onion rings in a 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir in brandy and top with bacon. Continue baking uncovered until bacon is cooked. About 30 minutes. Yield: 8 servings.
