PATIO BAKED BEANS 
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. instant coffee
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 onion, chopped
2 (1 lb. 4 oz.) cans pork and beans
4 slices bacon

Mix sugar, coffee, vinegar, mustard, water and salt in saucepan. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Start oven at 350 degrees. Cut onion in thin slices and alternately layers with beans. Lay bacon on top, pour sauce mix over the top. Bake approximately 1 hour.
