CHARLOTTE'S CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts; optional

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, soda, and salt; set aside. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets. Makes 100 2-inch cookies.
