1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. Baby Ruth candy bar, cut into sm. pieces

Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg. Add remaining ingredients. Chill. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 50 cookies.
