BABY RUTH COOKIES 
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
6 (1/2 oz.) Baby Ruth candy bars, cut in small pieces

Blend flour with salt and soda in small bowl. Gradually add sugar to butter in mixing bowl; cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Blend in dry ingredients gradually; mix thoroughly. Stir in candy pieces. Chill dough for easy handling. Drop by tablespoon onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Makes 6 dozen.
