COOKIE DESSERT 
1 lb. or 15 oz. crushed Hydrox cookies
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 lg. can (2 1/2) sliced & drained pieces
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
4 or more bananas
9-10 oz. container Cool Whip

Place 1/2 cup crushed cookies in a 13"x9" pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks. Fold in stiffened egg whites. Carefully spread over cookie layer. Add a layer of well drained peaches. (Fresh peaches can also be used.) Next, add a layer of sliced bananas. Sprinkle with nuts. Carefully add a layer of whipped topping over bananas. Top with remaining cookie crumbs. Chill 24 hours before serving.
