CRANBERRY ORANGE SALAD | |
A classic salad or relish - especially good with roast turkey and chicken. 1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello orange, lemon, or strawberry gelatin 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. cold water 1 sm. orange 2 c. fresh cranberries 3 tbsp. sugar Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add cold water. Chill until very thick. Cut orange in wedges and remove seeds. Put orange and cranberries through food chopper. Mix fruit and sugar. Fold into gelatin. Pour into individual molds or a 1 quart mold. Chill until firm. Unmold on crisp lettuce. Makes about 3 1/2 cups, or 6 side salads or 10 relish servings. |
